Mary grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, Celine Dion, Nick Cave and Florence And The Machine, and that goes some way to explaining her sound. Elements of classic rock mingle with pop elements, creating something that feels truly fresh. The standout feature, though, is her soulful and expressive vocals, particularly during a passionate chorus.
