Haunted sounds beautiful from the very start, opening with a minimalist piano melody. A set of amazing strings are added over the course of the piece, really elevating the track to a further level of beauty. One of the things that really stood out to me about this song was the way in which the vocals are used. Eiza’s voice is stunning, but she also layers a set of different backing vocals over each other in a stunning way – you really need to hear it!
