I’m a massive fan of the indie-folk genre, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover American singer-songwriter Caleb J. Murphy’s music.

Bless These Heavy Arms is a song about Caleb’s son, who had some serious health issues a few years ago. He’s doing much better now, but you can really feel the emotion in Caleb’s subtle vocals as he sings along to this song. The main instrumentation comes from a flowing acoustic guitar melody, although the chorus changes things up a little. The main note sequence on the chorus sounds absolutely beautiful, especially when the gorgeous backing vocals are added. Make sure you check this track out!
