I’ve got a proper soft spot for a haunting folk song, so I couldn’t help but love Forest Fire when I first heard it!

The Lost Hours is a British band that have been steadily gaining traction in the UK, and for good reason! Forest Fire is a haunting folk song with a hint of Americana, featuring a selection of gorgeous acoustic guitar melodies as the main instrumentation. The violins add a really haunting edge to the tune, and the way the beat changes halfway through really adds something special. The vocals are soft for the most part, changing to an anguished scream at one point, showing a great wealth of emotion.
