Sugarmoon are a Bristol-based rock band who I’ve featured once before on the blog last Spring through their throwback track Just A Feeling. Now they’re back with a new one called Peaches & Cream.

Opening with a bluesy guitar riff and plodding bass, Peaches & Cream hits you straight away with its sense of atmosphere. As the track progresses, we’re treated to a full psychedelic breakdown. Similarly retro as Just A Feeling was, the track feels reminiscent of The Doors, The Beatles and Mamas & Papas.
Peaches & Cream is the title track of the band’s new three-track EP, which is set for release tomorrow. Already a big hit on the Bristol scene, it feels like a great time to be rediscovering Sugarmoon. You can check out Peaches & Cream for yourself below.
