My Friends Are Sober is a catchy new pop song with an infectious melody – it’s definitely poppy, but it’s got a slightly quirky edge, differentiating James’ music from his peers. James has a great singing voice, working well with the chord sequence chosen here. The bass throbs in the background as the guitars play a lovely note sequence, working its way straight into your brain. I can’t stop listening to this track – hopefully you’ll feel the same way too!
