MoMA is the new single from Baltimore, USA-based indie pop artist Plant Dad, real name Ralph Bernabe. He’s featured once before on our blog, as part of Jane’s Monthly Favourites round up back in February but this is my first time sharing his music.

MoMA marks a bit of a departure from the sound that we heard from him before. The indie pop is replaced by a more shoegaze and rock vibe. A slow-burning intro leaves space for the storytelling lyrics before things build into an enthusiastic, anthemic chorus.
With masterful song writing and soulful vocals, Plant Dad is definitely one to be reckoned with in the world of indie pop and rock. I’ll be keeping a close eye on him. You can check out MoMA for yourself below.
