Josh Tepper is an extraordinary musician from New York City, who has grown up studying music throughout his life. I discovered his track, Always Everywhere, recently, and felt I had to share it as part of a round-up review I completed. He’s extremely talented and I hope he will be a big name soon!

You released a single titled Always Everywhere. What can you tell us about the track?
Always Everywhere is a quintessential break up song. It’s about a relationship being over when you can’t let go of the person. It doesn’t matter how hard you try, they are always everywhere.
How has the reception to Always Everywhere been so far, and where can the song be purchased?
The song has been very well received! You can purchase it anywhere music is streamed or bought. Spotify, Apple, etc.
Do you plan to release any more singles in the near future?
Yes! I have some more coming out in the spring!
Do you plan to release an EP or an album anytime soon?
I have a catalogue of really great singles,so an EP is coming soon!
Your music has a classic singer-songwriter sound. What/who influences you most as an artist? What have you been listening to recently?
Sting, Peter Gabriel and Frank Sinatra all have influenced me.
I am also loving Miley Cyrus, Pop Smoke and Bronski Beat.
Do you have anything else exciting coming up this year?
I am really excited about releasing more music!
What do you think is the biggest challenge in the music business at the moment?
I don’t like to think of challenges – just ways to get around them
You’re based in New York. How is the music scene faring at the moment?
The music scene in New York always has great up and coming musicians who have wonderful stories to tell.
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
Not yet! I would love to perform in the UK though.
