Jzzy is a Los Angeles, USA-based alternative pop artist who has just hit my radar thanks to her fun and ballsy new single HELMET.

Jzzy took her inspiration for HELMET from iconic female character from around the year 2000, including those featured in Gossip Girl, Clueless and Legally Blonde. The result is something vibrantly punchy with groovy bass, charismatic vocal delivery and take-no-prisoners lyrics.
Now based in LA, Jzzy is Indian-American and was raised in India. Always artistic, she attended the NMIMS School of Performing Arts before the pandemic disrupted her education. It’s certainly not slowed her down though, and I love her original take on modern pop.
