Sleepy Kitty is one of my favourite discoveries of the year so far, as their song, Do It WIthout Me, is an awesome grungy rock tune with plenty of melody.

Despite being a duo, Sleepy Kitty have managed to create a song that sounds utterly epic, with a full band sound echoing through the track. Do It Without Me has the perfect balance of heaviness and melody, also adding an indie stomp into the mix with the rhythm. The vocals sound great too – I found myself a little reminded of Emily Haines from Canadian indie band Metric. The main chord sequence used on the verses is particularly catchy, drawing you into this epic track straight away. Don’t miss out – check it out here:
