Ferester is the artist project of Scottish-American indie folk artist Spencer O’Grady, hailing from a sleepy town in Aberdeenshire.

Renegades on Borrowed Time is a bit of a genre bender – it’s got elements of rock, folk, indie and even modern mainstream pop, making for something really unique. The beat is upbeat, driving the song along, as the clean guitar melodies follow it, occasionally breaking off to add a greater character to the tune. Spencer’s vocals are fantastic too, suiting the style of music exceedingly well, making you really feel the lyrics as he sings along. Check the track out here:
