(giant vacuum) is the second single release from the Los Angeles, USA-based folk rock singer songwriter Ethan Tyrer, who performs under the name Gorus.
By Graeme Smith
Ethan’s apocalypse-themed track was actually written before COVID, and seems strangely prescient. Musically, it combines acoustic instrumentals with grunge rock and a certain amount of experimentation that makes the sound feel really fresh. Fans of Radiohead will really dig the Gorus sound.
Before he started releasing music as Gorus, Ethan spent years releasing a rich catalogue of albums and EPs under the name Amina. Whatever the name, he’s putting out interesting and genre-defying work that hits you right in the heart.
