Netherlands-based alternative rock act Kaminski has just come to my attention thanks to their philosophical new track Black Salad.

Kaminski is the project of singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Derek Kuipers. Struck down by COVID-19, he began to ask himself what was really important to him, and it was from this train of thought that his new self-titled EP was born.
Black Salad is a track that’s urgent and complex. It opens with driving percussion and wistful guitar. Delicate vocals ruminate soulfully, blending beautifully in with the instrumentals. Black Salad is a track that compels you to move and to feel in equal measure.
