Washington DC, USA-based alternative rock and pop singer songwriter Molly Baker has featured a couple of times before on this blog, and Jane has even posed her a few questions in an interview. Yet, it’s thanks to her new track Stunt Double that I’m finally getting to share her music personally.

Molly’s latest explores the theme of toxic friendships, when a so-called friend will put their interests in front of others. With visceral storytelling in the lyrics, one can’t help but feel it’s written from bitter experience. A lively pop rock arrangement lightens the mood and Molly’s expressive vocals are the icing on the cake.
