Swimming Pools is a song written about the tribulations of modern dating, something many people will be able to relate to. In terms of genre, I’d say it’s more of a pop-rock song, although there are hints of the indie-pop and folk movements. Dani has a great voice, taking on a particularly awesome tone on the chorus as her vocals rise up higher on occasion. The guitars make up most of the instrumentation for the song alongside the rhythm section, although the backing vocals sound pretty stunning too. Check out this catchy number below!
