Newcastle-based rockers Crux have appeared on this blog a few times now, most recently last month through their track Empty Home. Not resting on their laurels, the boys are already back again with a new one that is an ode to the struggles of today’s youth. It’s called Lost Souls.

It feels like it’s never been more perilous to be a human being and it’s that anxiety that Crux capture in Lost Souls. Comparing the modern world to a sinking ship, they deliver their message through driving, moody rock. The vocals are as soulful as always, especially during a soaring, anthemic chorus.
The track was recorded at Blank Studios. Production, mixing and mastering comes from Sam Grant from Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs. You can give Lost Souls a listen below.
