Bodies On The Floor is probably best classified as a modern folk song, with more than a hint of indie-folk also thrown in for good measure. It’s fairly simple in terms of instrumentation, featuring a gorgeous strummed acoustic guitar melody, as some faint backing effects pervade the atmosphere. However, the minimalist style allows the vocals to truly shine through, and shine they do! JT uses quite a high vocal pitch here, and it works surprisingly well, making the track sound utterly unique.
