Our Stories is our first introduction to Ailisa’s music, but I’m sure we’ll be sharing more soon, as it’s a wonderful piece of work. It’s a stripped-down folk song with a subtle vibe, allowing the beauty to really shine through. The instrumentation mostly consists of a pretty fingerpicked acoustic guitar melody and a violin, alongside some atmospheric backing effects. The vocals are the real focal point though, sounding stunning throughout. If you like your folk music, this is a definite must listen track!
