I don’t wanna love like you is a pop-rock song with elements of modern pop and indie-pop also thrown into the mix, creating quite a distinctive sound. It’s immensely catchy from the very start, seeing Katelyn use a fantastic chord sequence on the verses, building the music up with some palm-muted guitars. The chorus elevates things even further, letting Katelyn’s melancholic lyrics really shine through in her stunning vocals, making you believe everything she is singing about here.
