Fari is a Brighton-based neo-soul artist and multi-instrumentalist who uses looping to make some rich and interesting soundscapes. She’s just caught my attention with her latest single, In The Vein.

Though new to us, Fari has in the past appeared at The Great Escape Festival, and has also had a set for Sofar Sounds. For her sound, she takes her cues from the likes of Kimbra, D’Angelo and Jill Scott.
Her new single In The Vein is the perfect combination of a dynamic instrumental and introspective lyrics, delivered beautifully through Fari’s soulful vocals. She brings together experimentation and relatable human experience quite unlike anyone I’ve heard before and as soon as I heard In The Vein I knew I had to share it.
