Clearwater, Florida, USA-based dream pop act Luma Fade first came to my attention at the start of this year through their album Lunar Decay. Now they’re back with a new single.

Luma Fade bring together a love of ’80s post-punk, ’90s alternative rock and science fiction. While Lunar Decay painted a picture of our world post-apocalypse, their new single Quantum Sleep dwells on the topic of time travel.
There’s a vibrancy to the instrumental composition that instantly hits you, and the snatches of barely there vocals are a beautiful addition. The guitar groove is relentless, building a brooding atmosphere as the track slowly builds, arriving at an open-ended conclusion.
