Canadian singer-songwriter Victoria Staff returns to York Calling with an acoustic version of From My Side of the Table.

I’ve admittedly not had chance to hear the original version of the tune, but if the acoustic track is anything to go by, I’m sure it’s wonderful. The acoustic nature of this track really allows the beauty of the song to shine through, and particularly on Victoria’s vocals. She’s got a wonderful voice, with a soft tone that really makes you believe everything she’s singing about. As you might expect, the only instrumentation comes from a strummed acoustic guitar, but it’s stunningly beautiful as it is, so you must give From My Side of the Table a go!
