York-based rock and Americana band Miles and The Chain Gang have been featuring on this blog for a few years now, and are always welcome back to these pages. They’ve just released their latest track Hold Me Down.

After the success of their lively country track Raining Cats and Dogs, Hold Me Down sees Miles take things in an acoustic direction. It’s the perfect style to showcase his poetic lyrics, and heightens the emotion of it all. Backed by recent tracks Love Is Blind and Raining Cats and Dogs, it’s great to see the range of styles that Miles and The Chain Gang have to offer.
If you happen to be in Ilkley this weekend, the band will be playing Ilkley Rocks at the Brewery on Saturday (27 April 2024), the first time they’re playing the town. Tickets are available here.
