Lud Roes, previously Avery and Ella, are a band based in Washington DC, USA. Recently reborn as a trio, they’ve just released a new track and video called Waiting For B.

Consisting of Ella G, Avery Petrucci and Robzie Trulove, the group started out as a duo before recruiting the experienced professional drummer Robzie. Together the trio create a sound that is equal parts heavy and haunting. Waiting For B plods along with a sludgy arrangement while ghostly vocals float over the top. It’s punctuated by shotgun moment of feedback creating something that’s rich with twists, turns and atmosphere.
With their new single, Lud Roes are marking themselves out as an act that’s truly distinctive. Waiting for B is out now and you can check out its striking video, directed by Mitchel Worley, below.
