New to our pages, The Numb Project is a Portland, Oregon, USA based producer who has caught our attention with his new track Pull.

Blending lo-fi with hip-hop, boom-bap and trip-hop, Pull is an intriguing track that refuses to be defined by genre. Opening contemplative and stripped-back it quickly finds a bass groove and steady beat which contrasts nicely with its terse strings. It’s equal parts chill and challenging, resulting in a composition that demands multiple listens to deconstruct. The Numb Project is certainly bringing something new and exciting to the lo-fi genre. I can’t wait to hear more from him.
