Malachi McNeill announces new album All In A Name by releasing its storytelling title track.
By Graeme Smith
Malachi is an American singer songwriter based in San Diego, California. He’s previously performed as Statues and Stories and is also sometimes accompanied by his band, The Necessary Evil.
His new single All In A Name is a track that explores generational violence and revenge, and how it fades over time. Malachi’s lyrics are strikingly rich with storytelling which meant I was hanging on every word he sung with his charismatic vocals. All the while, a stripped-back folk rock arrangement creates the atmosphere. It’s all flawlessly done.
The single is taken from Malachi’s upcoming album of the same name. It’s out now and you can check it out below.
