Lorcan O’Rourke releases debut original single, Get Me Home.

A singer songwriter from County Offaly, Ireland, Lorcan has a sound akin to The Eagles, The Travelling Wilburys and Shania Twain. He previously featured on this blog in May through his covers EP Live at The Ivory Sessions.
Get Me Home is his debut original single, a gentle, introspective number rich with classic rock and country sentiments. As ever, Lorcan’s gruff and charismatic vocals are the star of the show, especially during a pleading chorus. The lyrics speak of finding refuge in a world that seems to be going mad.
