Ireland’s Lorcan O’Rourke returns to our blog with country pop rock classic, Pour Me Another One.

Sometimes you just have to let it all go, and Lorcan’s new track captures this sense of reckless debauchery.

Pour Me Another One follows on from his debut original single Get Me Home, a track that I shared to these pages earlier this year. While Get Me Home was a gentle, introspective number, Lorcan’s latest is a dramatic, storytelling track with plenty of swagger. It draws on classic country rock tropes while giving us plenty of his unique flair.

Lorcan’s recordings are beginning to keep pace with his live presence, something I experienced in part when I ran the rule over his live album, Live at The Ivory Sessions. He’s starting to prove that he’s the total package with it comes to country rock.
