The Ukulelian is a ukulele-playing alien who has donned human dress-up. They’re a persona of Ævina, a singer songwriter hailing from Jersey City, USA who has just hit our radar.
The concept of daily dose of danger is so deliciously bonkers I knew I had to share it when I discovered it. Through her absurdity, Ævina holds a mirror up to society while also giving us a fresh and haunting sound. Her lyrics are beautifully storytelling during a track that sounds like nothing I’ve heard before.
Daily dose of danger was composed in collaboration with Ævina’s “satellite sister,” Ari Inez, and producer Michael Rachlin. It’s out now and you can check out its haunting video below.
