Paula T, full name Paula Tartell, is a producer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has just come to my attention through her punchy debut single.

Paula has been plugging away making music in her Brooklyn bedroom for five years and has finally plucked up the courage to share it with the world through her debut single, Canary.
Telling a story of finding herself in a recurring pattern of dating men who were afraid to be in love with charm and charisma, it’s a beautifully intimate track with plenty of upbeat energy. Paula’s use of imagery makes each lyric compelling while the tempo never lets up. Listening to it was the most fun I’ve had for awhile.
