Besides Hope sees him embark on a new era embracing melodic nostalgia with his sound. A simmering first verse gives us plenty of emotion and longing for a simpler time. It builds nicely before exploding into vibrant life during a chorus which leaves nothing unfelt.
What always impresses me about Miles Away is how he can take modern pop trends and elevate them. That and his authenticity. You can tell he’s doing it for the love.
