Teaming up with rapper MOBI1, Alex Kate takes on the male mental health epidemic in new single, Lost Soldier.

Alex has featured a few times before on this blog, going back to 2022 when she was included in Jane’s Here Come The Brits round up. Jane also posed her some questions in an interview. I’ve shared her music three times, running the rule over two singles, and her EP, High Club.
The original version of her track Lost Soldier graced these pages in 2024 and now she’s reworked it with the help of rapper MOBI1.
Lyrically it takes on a topic close to Alex’s heart following a recent breakup, encouraging men to open up about their feelings against a delicate instrumental backdrop, a sound comparable to the likes of Kate Bush, Florence and the Machine, and Bjork. MOBI1’s verse slides in, giving a deliciously energetic injection before the track builds nicely to a powerful, percussive crescendo.
