Charlotte originally appeared on this blog as part of Jane’s Monthly Favourites roundup in October 2022 and now the Hartlepool-based singer songwriter is back on our pages.
Get Outta My Yard is a catchy rock and roll number which pairs her expressive vocals with a bluesy and jangly instrumental. It’s the lyrics that truly shine, though, telling a story of being woken in the middle of the night by a drunken ex-lover.
The track was recorded with Charlotte’s former band The Shame Areas by Micheal Kitching and Mark Folland and was produced by Mark Aubrey. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
