Atlas Rivers drop bombastic rock single ahead of huge support slot

It was only a couple of weeks ago that Manchester’s Atlas Rivers first featured on our blog, yet I enjoyed their track Towards the Sun so much, that I didn’t want to pass up a chance to share their latest.

Here Comes Morning gives us alternative rock in the vein of Manic Street Preachers or Ash, with big, bombastic choruses and a punk edge. Passionate vocals make its chorus. They’re paired perfectly with some big riffs and a driving rhythm section. The lyrics celebrate life’s beautiful moments but also acknowledge that they never last forever.

Atlas Rivers are about to open for Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls at Manchester Academy before heading off on their first tour (details to be announced.) It feels like a good time to be getting into them. They’re on the cusp of something.

Here Comes Morning is out now and you can give it a listen below.
