If in doubt, start with a big riff. That seems to be the philosophy of the San Diego, USA-based Better Before with their new single. Tasteless starts big and stays big as it works its way through a powder keg of a verse. Things get lit in a raucous and emotional chorus. A gentler interlude lets us catch our breath before things end huge.
Better Before make a lot of noise for a trio. If you like bands like Dinosaur Jr. or The Replacements, then you’re going to find a lot to love about their sound.
