The metal alter-ego of British-Canadian artist Alfred Hermida, Void Vanguard is new to this blog through their hard-rocking new single, Up All Night.

Opening simmering, it doesn’t take long for Up All Night to boil over. Big riffs greet us early on before powerhouse vocals come in, expressive and compelling. The track deploys loud-quiet to great effect, giving us understated verses and soaring choruses. A lingering guitar solo seals the deal.
It proves a great introduction to the Vancouver-based artist who has more than a touch of the UK sound about them. Up All Night is out now, available to buy as a digital track on Bandcamp. You can give it a listen below.
