SIESKI opens up in stimulating new single, Coffee

Vancouver, Canada-based alternative pop artist SIESKI has featured on our blog twice before through singles Happy To Be Here and In The Matters. Now’s she’s back with a new single.

By Graeme Smith

Coffee is a self-described “ode to coffee and all things sensory, with themes about self-regulating emotions as a highly sensitive person.”

The track kicks off with a bouncy, reggaeton-like beat which nicely contrasts the light expression of the vocals. Confessional lyrics in the verse give way to a vibrant and storytelling chorus that will stick with you. A playful, stimulating jazziness comes in before the track begins to build to its conclusion with a percolating interlude that sets up a bubbling crescendo.

SIESKI is an artist who is able to show plenty of different sides and shades of her sound and we’ve already seen that across the three tracks of hers that we’ve shared. I have a suspicion that Coffee might be her biggest hit to date, though. It’s wonderfully bright, catchy and relatable.

Coffee was written by Sienna Dolinski who also produced it alongside Josh Eastman. SIESKI will be launching the single at Guilt & Co, Vancouver on 25 January 2025. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
