Taking on five jazz ballads in the rawest possible form, Snapshot is the new cover EP from Lisabel and Chris Bland.

The classic songs recorded live in a single take are about as close as you’ll get to the Lisabel experience without heading out and seeing her in person. Accompanied by Leeds College of Music graduate Chris Bland on piano, the pair have a natural chemistry which means the simple combination of keys and voice has a big impact.
“We wanted to capture the magic of a live moment,” says London-based Lisabel. “There’s something beautiful in the imperfections and spontaneity of playing a song all the way through without edits. It tells a more human story.”
In the EP, the pair take on five ballads from the Great American Songbook: The Nearness of You, Moon River, The Man I Love, Blame It On My Youth, and Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.
