York’s own Vagabond announce next headline show

York’s fast-rising pop-punk trio Vagabond are set to headline The Basement for an explosive night of new music, and grassroots talent.

With limited capacity and a rapidly growing fanbase, this show is expected to sell out fast — fans are urged to secure tickets early.

Known for their sharp social commentary, relentless energy, and modern twist on classic punk, Vagabond have built a reputation for electrifying live sets that pack out local venues.

Supporting the trio are longtime collaborators Some Lions, one of York’s standout young bands, alongside District!, an exciting new band we predict to make waves on the local scene.

Together, the lineup promises an unforgettable night celebrating the best of York’s young alternative talent.

“We’re excited to bring together three York bands for this grassroots gig,” says Vagabond. “Space is limited, so we’re expecting it to fill up quickly.”

Vagabond, Some Lions, and District play at The Basement on Friday 23 January 2026. Tickets are £6 in advance / £7 on the door

The event is an All Ages Show and may contain flashing lights and strong language.

Important: No alcohol will be served. Anyone under 18 appearing to have consumed alcohol before arrival will be refused entry
