Nashville-based band The Brook and The Bluff have been touring almost non-stop for the past decade or so, and yet this is the first time we’ve ever featured them in these pages! They’ve decided to put the touring on hold for a moment so as to focus on creating new music, with Can’t Figure It Out being their latest single release.

The Brook and The Bluff’s music is probably best described as being within the folk-rock/Americana-rock genres, with more than a hint of country also thrown in for good measure too. All these elements can be heard clearly within Can’t Figure It Out, a song in which the tempo and pace never really lets up, keeping you listening and holding on for dear life until the end of the tune (there’s also a killer guitar solo to be heard towards the end of the song, so don’t miss out on that either!)

I really hope these guys hit the bigtime soon, as if Can’t Figure It Out is anything to go by, The Brook and The Bluff are well deserving of that title!
