FURTIVA, a new heavy beat and energetic track is set to be released on 20 February 2026.
By Eleanor Banyard
FREZYA is a virtual artist, working with LPSV, another computer-generated individual, through the company Lokidio Lab. The song is royalty-free with a license to use, specifically created for use in gaming and other media. The virtual element of the song gives a modern insight into the future of the music industry, where an increasing number of releases are computer generated.
The introduction to the song lasts for around one minute but builds a soundscape to the track that fits in with the narrative fast-paced theme. Throughout this first minute more sounds are gradually added, introducing a beat from the beginning, until the vocals kick in.
This energetic seven-minute song is perfect for a gaming soundtrack, with FREZYA creating a narrative background of “a sunburned coastal city where the law only cleans up the aftermath, FURTIVA follows a silent crew on their last high-risk run before everything collapses.”
This story element alongside the catchy, cinematic lyrics presents not just a song but a charged atmosphere where we are drawn into the narrative established.
FURTIVA is out now, and you can listen to it below.
