New Zealand band L.A.B are multi-Rolling Stone award-winners, and new single Ocean Demon shows just why they’re so beloved.

Ocean Demon is a song full of groove – it’s a ska/reggae track with an old school vibe and a beat that just keeps on giving, getting underneath your skin in no time. The guitars, bass and drums follow the typical rhythm you might expect from a song of this genre, with a set of horns occasionally added in for good measure. The vocals are full of soul as well, suiting the rootsy style of music well. Ocean Demon is one of the best tracks I’ve heard in a long time – you have to check it out!
