The Australian trio have built a strong following on this side of the world with their blend of Britpop-inspired hooks and modern indie rock energy, drawing comparisons to the likes of Oasis and The Stone Roses while carving out a sound firmly their own. Since breaking through with early singles such as Delete and Lay Down, the band have become festival favourites and consistent chart performers, with each release expanding their audience.

The new record, due for release in August, arrives alongside recent single Hurracane, which continues their knack for anthemic songwriting and emotionally direct lyricism. It marks the latest chapter for a band that has steadily evolved its sound while maintaining the singalong appeal that defines their live shows.

DMA’S have a reputation for bringing that energy to the stage, with tightly packed sets full of crowd-pleasers and newer material alike. Their UK tours have regularly sold strongly, and this run includes major dates across Manchester, London and Glasgow, as well as a return to York.

DMA’S will play York Barbican on Thursday 11 February 2027.
