The Hit is built around a relentless rhythm section and beat that really gets stuck inside your head, making for one of the catchiest songs I’ve heard in a long time. The dual vocals are a nice touch too, adding further atmosphere to the driving feel of the track. The verses build up nicely to the choruses, which finally erupt with a soaring payoff, carrying the weight of the song’s tension with a sense of absolute precision. As you can tell, I was pretty enamoured by The Hit, and I hope our readers will be too, as it’s a real hooky banger of a tune!
