Last week saw the return of Independent Venue Week to Fibbers. The annual celebration highlights the importance small venues have in terms of keeping the music industry alive. As the old saying goes, all big bands will have played a small venue at some point in their career. Friday’s line-up consisted of some local legends (including York’s favourite son, Shed Seven’s Rick Witter) and some up-and-comers. We went along to get some photos of the action.
