Say Owt Slam Turns Two!

This Saturday, the Basement is holding another slam poetry event, with the Say Owt Slam event celebrating it’s second birthday this month! Say Owt nights are always enjoyable, and if you are also interested in getting involved in the future, head on down and have a word with the organisers!

Triple Threat Tour – York
Fibbers
Satuday 24 September, 7.30pm
Three great northern bands, three dates, the Triple Threat tour arrives in York this weekend. Local boys A Joker’s Rage bring their face-painted hard rock to the stage alongside Keighley’s As Sirens Fall (following an appearance at Download this year) and Blyth’s up and comers Rusted Hero. Go along and get your #gameface on.

Ross Noble
York Barbican
Tuesday 27 September, 8pm
Stand-up comedian Ross Noble has been performing since he was 15 and has appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and had bestselling shows at both Edinburgh Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Famed for his super quick freewheeling style and highly imaginative flights of fancy a Ross Noble show is always an unmissable event.
