The three events you shouldn’t miss this week.

Fulford Arms All Dayer

The Fulford Arms, York

Saturday 7th January, 11.30am – 11:00pm
The Fulford Arms is known for being a great live venue in York, and this Saturday it is hosting another of it’s amazing all day events. The headliners are local band Faux Pas – who have been making waves recently – but there’s a host of other great bands playing and considering that the whole day is only £6, it’s a bargain!

LSFF 2017: David Bowie Sound and Vision

City Screen

Tuesday 10 January, 6.45pm

For those of us still in mourning, LSFF’s David Bowie anniversary programme will be travelling the UK, and hits York this Tuesday at City Screen. There will be a selection of short films from across his career, celebrating his ‘sound and vision’. 50p of every ticket sold will also be donated to Save The Children.

The Jungle Book

Joseph Roundtree Theatre

Saturday 7th January, 7:30pm

Based on stories from The Jungle Book with a big helping of Oddsocks humour, Mowgli’s mates, Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther and Kaa the python all help to outwit his enemies and help him learn the law of the jungle. A fantastic, empowering story for all ages that will warm your heart and lift your spirits. Music, muppetry, laughter and excitement all mixed-up to make a memorable experience for the whole tribe.
