Lower Than Atlantis – purveyors of infectiously crunchy, melodic and spring-loaded hardcore; and their rise in status to one of the UK’s hottest rock acts has been steady and, with hindsight, inevitable.

Since debut EP Bretton in 2008, through two more self-funded albums (2010’s Far Q and 2011’s World Record) and a Biffyesque commitment to touring, LTA have earned a fearsome live reputation, rising fast to prominence with media acclaim and with an often terrifyingly devoted fanbase.

The band are playing a gig at Fibbers tomorrow evening, with support coming from Boston Manor, and The Faim  – another couple of bands that are headed for big things.
