Wasn’t There is the first single to be released from Thompson Faulk’s upcoming album Edge of the USA, and we have to say it’s really made us want to check the full album out – it’s that good!

Wasn’t There is a folk rock track that also features elements of country music, with an opening riff reminiscent of those low guitar riffs perfected on the soundtrack of so many spaghetti western movies. There’s an urgency to Faulk’s lyrics, and you can tell from just listening to this track that he is a man not averse to pouring his heart out into his music, which is great in a musical world sometimes so devoid of feeling.
