Coming up on this Bank Holiday Monday, we’ve got a sensational touring Scottish act, and two local bands.
Foreignfox are a 5 piece alt-rock outfit hailing from Dunfermline, Fife. Fuelling their emotive and cinematic instrumentation with an uncompromising commentary on the hopes and fears of the modern individual; they are an intense, passionate and utterly compelling live act. Since the release of their debut single in 2014, the band have supported the likes of British Sea Power, Big Country and We Were Promised Jetpacks, headlined venues across the UK and performed at festivals including T in the Park, Kendal Calling and Electric Fields. In 2017, the band released their sophomore EP I Used To Be A Bellydancer via Scottish Fiction Records, and were included in Vic Galloway’s 25 Scottish Artists to Watch before recording a live session for BBC Radio Scotland.
In support are Supermoon, who play well-constructed indie rock, and Albany/Buffalo who are opening the show. They do powerful alternative indie.
